The 80's Prom was created to bring awareness to a growing epidemic in our country - breast cancer. Join us for a fun-filled evening of 80's fashion and classic hits while helping us to raise money to aid in the fight against breast cancer.  

Why the 80's?

The 80's were a time filled with synthesizers, bright colors and crimped hair.  It's a decade that brought us mega hits from favorite artists such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, U2, RunDMC, Bruce Springsteen and Phil Collins (to name a few) that span generations. Parachute pants, leg warmers and Member's Only jackets were all the rage.  And MTV actually played videos hosted by a VJ (anyone remember Downtown Julie Brown?).

Okay, so I'm totally on board with the 80's but why a prom? 

Prom was either the most fun or most tragic event of your high school life.  Whether you look back on prom with fond memories or terrible ones, I'm sure you can agree on one thing - you'd like to go back and do it again.  Either to relive the incredible time you had or to do it right this time.  No matter how you slice it, prom is a magical event. Dresses, tuxes, limos, music, dancing, food, drink.... We'll let memory lane sell you on it from here. 

So join us for a fun stroll down memory lane, all in the name of charity.  Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Avon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.
